HDGDVGSGDG i was just thinking abt this last week i went an rewatched the clip game changer

tepid take but i think people dislike legend of korra for the wrong reasons

lok i'll elaborate a little bit i think lok runs into a lot of the same problems as atla with being a very white-created show with all non-white characters but i do feel as if lok is a bit worse with the white-washing due to trying to build a more modern setting and apparently more modern mean more western :/ but idk a lot of complaints i see abt lok praise atla to high heaven in the same breath as someone who likes them both pretty equally but for different reasons. i don't really get a lot of complaints about korra's character or the 'retcon' of the first avatar stuff and the spirit world i dunno the only thing abt lok that turned me off was the love triangle stuff in the first season but by season 3 (my favourite season) they had it resolved and korra and asami became a lot closer and developed a really good relationship in an arc that i would say is just. good character development. i really liked how korra's character changed over the course of the show and korra and asami held hands at the end and it was so little and so subtle but that step for wlw relationships in kids shows was good i don't remember too much abt what all i've seen people say abt lok this is very disorganized but i just really like the show lmao i've been thinkin abt it lately i want to give it a rewatch
