Taako and Lup create the best meal to ever grace this planar system, obviously, and the entire bureau and their extended friends are present to celebrate Magnus’s birthday, and meet the brave strong beautiful funny wife he loves so much.

Yes of course there are fights, but they’re playful, not malicious. Magnus excitedly introduces Julia to Carey and Killian, and not ten minutes later he turns around to find his wife and best friend locked in a ferocious arm-wrestling competition. Magnus has no clue who to root for, so he stands beside the table cheering “Go! Do your best! You’re both so strong and I love you so much!”

Julia admires the grain of the wagon Hurley and Sloane drove over, complements the subtle seasonings of Taako’s ratatouille, and skilfully braid’s Lup’s hair. She thanks Lucretia for what she had done all those years ago, and they laugh together, trading stories about what a lovable idiot Magnus is. She interacts with and touches each important person in Magnus’s life, and he spends the evening beaming by her side, like an overjoyed puppy.

When it’s finally time to say goodbye, they share a loving embrace and promise to see each other again soon. Then Julia walks over to Kravitz, looping her arm in his. 

She blows a kiss, gives a wink, and is taken back home.
