‘No faction.’ [little poem thingy]

“Keep your hide, accursed child, underneath the garments you bind yourself with.
Shy away in fear of what others will find beyond your facade of stone and clay.
Your fear of your true nature.
They will find nothing.
Because nothing is what you’ve made of yourself.
Nothing worth hiding, and nothing worth fearing. Nothing more than the grotesque nature of your flawed image, nothing more than the mistakes that gnaw at your soul.
Being feared may be preferable to being respected, but you wear neither fear, nor respect upon your name. Your name is that of a ghost, unnoticed and unphased.
Your wrath proves too weak and short-lived to find yourself a villain, and your virtue is too self centered to find yourself a hero.
No good, and no evil. That is what you live for, the lack of harsh judgment that you instead hide within your rotting mask.
No sense of belonging, or unfaltering sympathy towards any side occupies your mind, you exist in no spectrum.
You are to drift in the dullness of your own incompetence, and find pleasure only in the hopes of healing the souls of others.
So that there may be another name for you.
So that you may be something more than a mere Phantom.”
