i surrender my heart / to the way the mountain daisies / sway in the wind / and the way orange peels smell / as they curl away from the / flesh. new worlds / are born every day / expanding like soap bubbles / all delicate iridescence and / air. i want to sing a love song / to every world / to every heart / to every golden field / reaching for the horizon. / teach me a new way / to breathe / tether me to the summer moon /

and the gentle haze / she exhales on the forest. / my heart is a tangerine / a white roof in winter / a promise / you can unwrap it / if you are gentle enough. today  /

i choose to live / i choose to write / this love letter to the sky / to you / to myself.
