Hey peeps that use the site Rabb.it for hanging out with people and streaming stuff! I just want you guys to know things with it changed for the worse recently, and you’re gonna need to know some stuff if you’re going to be streaming, and want to do so privately.

Firstly, on your named page, like your main one that you would use before? You can no longer stream privately on there. Period. It’s also dangerous to do public streams currently because any and everyone can take the remote at any time, without consent, meaning someone could just come in and take control and mess with the whole deal, or load into some horrible bullshit while you’re attempting to wrestle the remote away from them. Also, yeah, theres like a 100% chance a rando will come into the room, because they will promote your stream if it’s public.

What can you do about that? 

You gotta make a Group. 

So when you go to the main rabbit page, and click over to My Groups, you have the option to make a new group and name it whatever. There is also, I believe, not a limit on Rabbit group members, but I’m not actually sure myself. Anyways, just click on the + to make a new group. 

You then give out the URL tied to said group. That URL should look like this, basically, but with different characters

From there, people can come into that room whenever, as long as they have the link, so keep that in mind. Anyone from that group can also watch things together whenever.

To actually watch things together as a group though, you have to go over to the Explore & Watch button in the group.

Then to the Web button inside that

and then you put the URL you want to go to in the search bar. 

They made watching privately with your friends so much harder, but hopefully this will help you do it just a little bit smoother.
