"In Bloom"
An old drawing I finished in Procreate. The flowers are roles I had/have inna Discord server. The meanings of the flowers, for those interested in random flower languag, goes as follows:
-The red/yellow flowers coming out of the head are variegated tulips, and mean “beautiful eyes”
-the blue flowers in the eye me forget-me-nots, and mean anything from “true love”, “memories”, or “remembrance”
-the small flowers along the arm/ head are called bloodflowers/tropical milkweed, and mean “hope in misery”
-the pink flower in hand is a peony and means several things, such as “shame”, “happy marriage“, “compassion”, and “bashfulness“.
Lastly, while the meaning of butterflies varies from culture to culture, apart of me thought of them in the context of butterflies being a representation of the soul. Also I wanted to make a joke about “butterflies in the stomach”.
