i love horror but i walk a fine line with freaking myself out at all times

i love body horror a lot and will gleefully consume horror media but like i have nearly no way of knowing what will freak me out cause i'll just be happily going abt my business and then i'll be laying awake at night thinking abt one random thing out of all of it less realistic stuff like art or cool special effects or like horror video games or comics r usually chill but i dunno i've been avoiding watching the cat with hands because just the title of it is freaking me out and i don't really like horror movies for the most part .w. (tho that changes if i'm not watching them alone. or for certain movies idk it's so finicky)
